Future Stars Cricket Academy Philosophy
-
Develop - Individuals self awareness/Confidence
-
Enhance - Skill Sets and abilty to recognise importance of deliberate/purposeful practice
-
Perform - Consistently individual processes during competitive fixtures...
A significant point of difference how our academy will facilitate our next generation is through Utilising a method called Bio-banding were players are grouped by physical attributes/skill level/previous playing/training experience in other sports, rather than age. (Physical attributes include height ,weight and mobility).
Develop Enhance Perform program Is separated into 3 stages........
Sue Jennings, mother of Amy Jennings Box Hill CC / East Metro U18
Hi David, Just wanted to let you know how Amy did on the weekend after the six weeks work she’s done with you. She won her Women’s Premier League preliminary final, but that’s not what’s really significant. It’s that with at least six or seven Victorian Open Women’s players participating spread over the two teams, Amy was Player of the Match with 27 runs – strike rate of 169% -bowling figures of 3/6 and a good game behind the stumps. Pretty good day for a just turned 17 year old who’s been playing indoor cricket for less than 18 months.
I credit the turnaround to the work she’s done with you. I have happily watched her confidence and assertiveness grow week by week, culminating in calm and confident batting under finals pressure. You have an excellent combination of improving technique and confidence side by side. Thanks again for all you’ve done so far – it’s a great gift for her. It’s lovely to see her happy playing cricket again instead of being so stressed. So glad we found you!
